Our Lord never loses sight of the "Brokenhearted"... His love heals their "disheartened spirit".  And, we all know that our world is full of "crushed spirits and broken hearts".  "I was lost...and now I am found" serves as a catalyst for healing that George and I shared through the gospel, prayer, and music. we are blessed with a purpose to share our journey(s) through the work we have come to believe is... "The Brokenhearted Ministry".  We read our way through God's word, finding the inspiration, love, and guidance that we both needed. 

I know that I somehow had to learn the hard way through my own trials with "addiction, self-indulgence, and selfishness.  The hurt not only resonated with me but also with my family and others who had supported and believed in me.  And, "if you lead, I will follow" crossed our minds when we found ourselves together performing for a group supporting a non-profit called Provoking Hope located here in McMinnville, Oregon.  As we listened to the words of the heartfelt testimonies along with words of encouragement ... I found myself relating to so much of what I was hearing.  Our "broken hearts" found our purpose...we could choose to partner and support the dedicated people who work to inspire every day issues of recovery...and so much more.
